Red, White & Bleu Meatloaf

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup dried oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup diced white onions
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup Rachel’s Raquette Lake Elixir (plus ½ cup for basting)
  • 1/2 cup bleu cheese crumbles
Red, White & Bleu Meatloaf
Directions:
  1. Add all of above ingredients in a large bowl. Save ½ cup Elixir for basting.
  2. Form a loaf shape and put into a greased pan.
  3. Pour remaining Elixir over loaf and pop in oven at 350.
  4. Every 15 minutes, take out and using a basting brush, use the liquid in the bottom of the pan to paint over the loaf
  5. Baking should take about 45 minutes.
