Red, White & Bleu Meatloaf - Rachel's Raquette Lake Elixir

Red, White & Bleu Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef

1/4 bread crumbs

1/4 cup dried oatmeal

1/2 cup diced white onions

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

2 tsp minced garlic

1/2 cup Rachel’s Raquette Lake Elixir (plus ½ cup for basting)

1/2 cup bleu cheese crumbles


1Add all of above ingredients in a large bowl. Save ½ cup Elixir for basting.

2Form a loaf shape and put into a greased pan.

3Pour remaining Elixir over loaf and pop in oven at 350.

4Every 15 minutes, take out and using a basting brush, use the liquid in the bottom of the pan to paint over the loaf

5Baking should take about 45 minutes.
